Iceland Foods in Strabane is seeking a committed Shift Manager to support the management team and deliver consistent results, becoming the best place to shop and work. You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store.

As part of our team you will focus on great product availability, staff development, and strict adherence to processes while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit by delivering great availability for customers.
• Play an active role in the store to sell a £1 and save a £1 to drive sales.
• Deliver on all actions set by the line manager.
• Engage, develop and retain great people in the store.
• Follow and implement cash handling and security policies & processes.
• Provide the best digital service through implementing all One Best Way processes.
