Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is hiring a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team. You will provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments and help maintain the store's appearance.

You will continually look for ways to improve service through on-the-job coaching and feedback. You will keep the store safe and welcoming, follow Think 25 for age-restricted products, and assist with post office duties if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments and help maintain the store's appearance.
• Contribute to day-to-day store operations and seek to improve service via on-the-job coaching and feedback.
• Follow Think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products and respond quickly to assistance calls on self-service checkouts.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere; keep aisles clear and safe.
• May run the shift in the absence of the Shift Leader or Store Manager; follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• If there is a Post Office Local, undertake daily post office operations and pass necessary checks.
