Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise store floor operations, coordinate team members, and ensure great customer service during busy periods. You’ll be the go-to person across all store areas, leading by example and handling day-to-day queries.

The role offers flexible hours with a guaranteed minimum 16 hours per week, starting pay £15.59 per hour (£16.86 in M25 stores) and opportunities to grow within a friendly, inclusive team.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver great in-store customer experiences.
• Working across all areas of the store and with colleagues, handling day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships to help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and modelling great service.
