Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Shift Lead to inspire the in-store team and deliver a great customer experience. You’ll be the go-to person for daily operations across areas of the store and with colleagues, guiding actions and decision-making.

The role offers a starting hourly rate of £15.59, rising to £16.86 in certain stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12-hour roles. Applicants must be 18 or over and adaptable to flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
• Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day.
