Iceland Foods Ltd is seeking a committed Shift Manager to support the management team, drive consistent store results, and create the best place to shop and work. You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store.

The role emphasizes serving customers, upskilling the team, and upholding cash handling and security processes while delivering strong store performance across daily operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Effective communication with colleagues to deliver store tasks first time.
• Ability to plan and organise the shift using every team member.
• Provide balanced feedback to improve performance.
• Hands-on leadership to deliver a great store on shift.

Responsabilités

• Maximise profit by ensuring great store availability.
• Sell a £1 & save a £1 strategy to drive sales.
• Deliver on actions set by line manager.
• Support and engage Talking Shop Rep and store team.
• Promote an inclusive culture and staff development.
• Complete daily floor walk actions focusing on customer experience.
• Follow cash handling and security policies.
• Contribute to best digital service through One Best Way processes.
• Lead by example and deliver excellent customer service.
