Iceland is seeking a committed Shift Manager to support the management team in delivering great customer service and store performance. You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store, reflecting the role's responsibility and impact.

In this hands-on position you will lead a small team, ensure product availability, drive sales, and uphold cash handling and security policies while fostering an inclusive culture that helps

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.

• Sell and save initiatives to drive sales.
• Deliver actions set by line manager.
• Engage and develop staff through the Talking Shop Rep in-store.
• Foster an inclusive culture and up-skill the team.
