Job summary

BardWood is seeking a Retail Security Support Officer to cover sites in Liverpool and surrounding areas. The role pays £15.15 per hour with up to six shifts weekly and variable hours. Officers ensure safety for staff and customers, patrol premises, monitor access, and respond to incidents.

Applicants should hold a valid SIA license, a 5-year verifiable work history, and a full UK driving licence with own vehicle. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence required.
• Must have a 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Physically fit to perform tasks.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the retail store premises.
• Investigate disturbances and monitor entry/exit points.
• Call for help in emergencies and operate security systems.
• Manage crowds calmly and maintain positive customer relations.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Support Officer

Pay Rate – £15.15

Location – Applicant must be willing to cover sites in Liverpool One - Liverpool Edge Lane - Liverpool Queens Drive - Bidston Moss SF - Aintree - Liverpool New Mersey - Heswall - Merseyside and surrounding areas

Shift Timings – Up to 6 shifts per week, shift times variable

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
