Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting for a Retail Security Support Officer in Lincoln and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for protecting staff and visitors, patrolling stores and monitoring entrances and exits.

Expected to work 6/7 days with varying shifts; driving licence and own vehicle required. After 12 weeks you transfer to the client with a range of employee benefits including SIA license renewal, cycle to work, tech salary sacrifice, loans, vouchers and private medical cover.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence holder with valid UK status.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Patrol retail store premises.
• Monitor entry/exit points and investigate disturbances.
• Call for help in emergencies and operate security devices.
• Engage with customers and maintain positive relations.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Support Officer

Pay Rate – £16.00ph

Location – Lincoln - Newark Maltings - Gainsborough, Grantham and surrounding areas

Shift Timings –

Opportunity to work 6/7 days, shift times will vary depending on days of the week you work

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
• Full UK Driving licence and own vehicle
