Job summary

BardWood is seeking a Retail Security Support Officer to cover multiple stores in Glasgow area. You will patrol store premises, monitor entries/exits and respond to disturbances, calling for help when needed and operating theft-detecting devices.

The role requires an SIA license, a 5-year checkable work history, and a full UK driving licence with own vehicle. You will work up to 6 days a week with varying shifts, joining a growing retail security team.

Qualifications

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
• Full UK Driving licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Support Officer

Pay Rate – £15.20

Location – Covering multiple stores in Argyle Street, Battlefield, West End, Anniesland, Breahead, Bishops Briggs, Newton Mearns, East Kilbride & surrounding areas.

Shift Timings – Upto 6 days per week, variable daily shift times.

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.
