Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting for a Retail Security Support Officer to cover multiple Edinburgh sites. You will patrol store premises, monitor access points, and help ensure the safety of staff and customers.

Pay rate is £16.50 per hour. Successful candidates will transfer to the client after 12 weeks, with benefits including SIA license renewal, cycle-to-work, private medical cover and a pensions scheme. A driving licence and own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence held and valid.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Support Officer

Pay Rate – £16.50

Location – Covering multiple sites in Edinburgh - Edinburgh Morningside - Edinburgh Craigleith - Edinburgh Chesser Ave - Edinburgh Kinnaird - Edinburgh Gyle - And surrounding areas

Shift Timings will vary depending on the days of the week you work. up to 6 shifts out of 7 days available per week

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.
