Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a Retail Security Support Officer to help protect staff and customers across multiple Manchester-area sites. You will patrol premises, monitor entry points and respond to incidents under the guidance of site management.

The role requires an SIA license, a 5-year checkable work history, and the ability to work under pressure. The position offers a clear pathway to permanent client employment after 12 weeks and benefits after transfer.

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

About the role

Title - Retail Security Support Officer

Pay Rate - £15.15

Location - Covering multiple sites across Manchester, Greater Manchester, Stretford, Prestwich, Trafford Centre, Ashton Moss, Stockport, Walkden, Altrincham, Bury the Rock & surrounding areas.

Shift Timings - Up to 6 days per week, shift timings variable

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.
