Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting a Retail Security Officer for a well-known retail store in Kirkton. You will help protect staff and customers, patrol the premises, monitor entry and exit points and respond to incidents.

The role requires an SIA license, a 5-year checkable work history, physical fitness, and the ability to work under pressure. You will transfer to the client on a permanent basis after 12 weeks with benefits including private medical cover, pension, cycle-to-work and more.

Qualifications

• SIA License is required.
• Five-year checkable work/career history is required.
• Physical fitness and ability to work under pressure are essential.
• Experience in a similar role would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Confidently calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

Shift Timings – Must Be Flexible As Per Clients Requirement

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.
