Job summary

BardWood Support Services Limited is recruiting for a Retail Security Support Officer to cover multiple Dundee and Perth area stores. The role involves patrolling store premises, monitoring entry/exit points, and responding to emergencies with theft-detection equipment in use throughout shifts.

You will be part of a team ensuring safety for staff and customers, with full UK driving licence and own vehicle preferred, and various employee benefits offered by the company.

Qualifications

• SIA License is required.
• 5-year career/history checkable.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Physically fit to undertake tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Handling large crowds and building positive customer relations.

About the role

Title - Retail Security Support Officer

Pay Rate - £16.50

Location - Must be able to cover stores in the Dundee , Dundee Gallagher, Dundee The Docks, Broughty Ferry, St Andrews, Perth and surrounding areas

Shift Timings - Up to 6 days per week available, shift timings shall vary

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following
