BardWood Support Services is hiring a Retail Security Support Officer to cover stores in Belfast, Lisburn, Abbey Centre Belfast, Boucher Road, Foyleside and surrounding areas. The role involves patrolling, monitoring entry points and responding to disturbances in a high-traffic retail environment.

Applicants must hold an SIA license, have a 5-year career history, and a valid UK driving licence with own vehicle.

Qualifications

• SIA License required.
• 5-year checkable work history.
• Full UK Driving License with own vehicle.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Building positive customer relations and managing large crowds.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Support Officer

Pay Rate – £16.50

Location –Must be able to cover stores in Belfast, Lisburn, Abbey Centre Belfast, Boucher Road, Foyleside & surrounding areas

Shift Timings – Up to 6 days per week available, shift timings shall vary

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
• Full UK Driving Licence with own vehicle
