Job summary

BardWood Support Services is hiring a Retail Security Officer in Bangor to patrol store premises, monitor entrances and assist customers while maintaining safety. Transfer to the client will occur after 12 weeks with attractive benefits.

Role requires a valid SIA license, a 5-year checkable history, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• SIA license is mandatory for front-line security roles.
• A continuous 5-year work/career history is required.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Candidates must be physically capable of the tasks.
• Ability to perform under pressure is essential.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Call for help in emergencies and operate theft-detecting devices.
• Build positive relationships with customers while maintaining safety.

Pay Rate – 13.10

Shift Timings – Must Be Flexible as Per Clients Requirement

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
