BardWood Support Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer for a busy store in Newtownards.

You will patrol the premises, monitor entrances and exits, investigate disturbances, call for help in emergencies and operate theft-detection devices while building positive customer relations.

Please note the role transfers to our client after 12 weeks, with benefits such as SIA license renewal, cycle-to-work, private medical cover and pension schemes.

Qualifications

• SIA license required.
• 5-year work history that is checkable.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Physically fit to undertake tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – 13.10

Location – Newtownards

Shift Timings – Must Be Flexible As Per Clients Requirement

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
