Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (ASEL) in Clydebank is seeking a Retail Security Officer to deter crime, respond to incidents, and complete detailed incident reports. The role focuses on protecting customers and staff while maintaining a visible security presence in stores across the local area.

The position requires a valid SIA licence, a 5-year checkable history, and the right to work in the UK. Training is provided; 40 hours per week, with shifts from 13:00 to 21:00. Hourly rate is £13.01.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence required for role.
• Previous experience in Retail Security is advantageous but not required as full training is provided.
• Current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence is required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
• Assess vulnerabilities and work to minimise risk.
• Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Complete incident reports and support digital reporting with tablets/phones.
• Provide detailed and legible accounts of incidents to clients and authorities.
