Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (ASEL) is seeking an in-store Retail Security Officer in Belfast. You will provide visible deterrence, respond to incidents and collaborate with local authorities while patrolling the shop floor and safeguarding customers and staff.

Applicants must hold a valid SIA licence, be able to provide a 5-year checkable history, and complete required training. The role offers varied hours and an hourly rate of £13.50.

Qualifications

• Be a confident communicator with customers and colleagues.
• Able to de-escalate conflicts in a professional manner.
• Full training will be provided for security duties.

Responsibilities

• Patrol shop floor and deter criminal activity.
• Assess vulnerabilities and help minimise risk for locations.
• Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress.
• Complete searches of colleagues and contractors as required.
• Digitally report incidents and use devices for daily activity planning.
• Prepare detailed, legible incident reports for clients and authorities.
• Uphold policy guidelines and ensure compliant operations.
