Marks & Spencer in Cheshire Oaks is looking for a Security Officer to help create a safe, welcoming and secure environment for customers and colleagues. The role requires calmness under pressure, professionalism and a pride in delivering great service while protecting people and products.

You'll work in a fast-paced retail setting, use store technology and maintain high security standards with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Formación

• Previous security experience is preferred
• A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A calm, confident and professional approach
• A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly
• A genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe

Responsabilidades

• Operate in a fast-paced retail environment, staying alert, responsive and ready to step in when needed.
• Create a welcoming store environment, greeting customers as they start shopping with us, while delivering professional support to both customers and colleagues.
• Keep our stores safe and secure, from preventing loss and responding to incidents to identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working.
• Be digitally confident, using store technology including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras for incident management.
• Stay calm under pressure and act professionally in challenging situations or emergencies.
• Work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards and support operations.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store when needed.
