Job summary

Cys Security Ltd is seeking a Security Officer to help create a safe, welcoming and secure environment for customers and colleagues in our stores.

You will stay calm under pressure, lead with professionalism, and use store technology such as mobile reporting and body-worn cameras to protect people and merchandise while delivering great service.

This role emphasizes customer focus, reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting with a flexible schedule.

• You'll help keep our stores safe and secure. From preventing loss and responding to incidents, to identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working, you'll play a key role in protecting the retail environment.
• Being digitally confident is essential. You'll use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.
• You'll stay calm under pressure. Whether responding to challenging situations or supporting emergency procedures, you'll always act professionally and confidently.
• Being a team player is crucial. You'll work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and create a positive environment for everyone.
• Flexibility is vital. Retail moves fast and every day is different. You'll adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store when needed.
