Job summary

CYS Security is seeking a Security Officer to help create a safe, welcoming store environment. You’ll be the visible presence customers notice, combining alertness with a professional, friendly approach.

In this role you’ll help prevent loss, respond to incidents and support safe ways of working using store tech, including mobile reporting and body-worn cameras. A valid SIA licence and calm under pressure are essential.

• Being digitally confident is essential. You'll use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.
• You'll stay calm under pressure. Whether responding to challenging situations or supporting emergency procedures, you'll always act professionally and confidently.
• Being a team player is crucial. You'll work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and create a positive environment for everyone.
• Flexibility is vital. Retail moves fast and every day is different. You'll adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store when needed.
