Job summary

Cys Security Ltd. is hiring a Security Officer to create a safe, welcoming environment in our retail stores across Scotland. You’ll be a visible, professional presence, deter risk and respond to incidents while delivering great service to customers and colleagues.

This role requires a valid SIA licence, a calm, proactive mindset and strong communication. Expect 40+ hours per week at £13.58 per hour with benefits including a colleague discount and licence renewals.

• You'll help keep our stores safe and secure. From preventing loss and responding to incidents, to identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working, you'll play a key role in protecting the retail environment.
• Being digitally confident is essential. You'll use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.
• You'll stay calm under pressure. Whether responding to challenging situations or supporting emergency procedures, you'll always act professionally and confidently.
• Being a team player is crucial. You'll work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and create a positive environment for everyone.
• Flexibility is vital. Retail moves fast and every day is different. You'll adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store when needed.
