Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with TSS, is recruiting Retail Security Officers for a busy Taunton store. You will provide security presence, help keep customers and staff safe, and assist with loss prevention.

Training is provided for those new to security, including obtaining an SIA license. Weekend shifts are required and there are opportunities for progression and ongoing development.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible security presence on site.
• Help keep customers, colleagues and visitors safe.
• Support loss prevention across the store.
• Monitor and report incidents using digital systems.
• Respond calmly and professionally to issues.
• Follow site procedures, including fire and evacuation processes.
• Keep the security area clean and organised.
• Deliver a friendly and professional service every shift.
• Carry out searches in line with site requirements.

Looking for a role where you're trusted to keep people safe and every shift has purpose?

We're looking for Retail Security Officers to join a busy retail environment in Taunton. This is a role where you'll play an important part in keeping customers, colleagues and visitors safe, while being part of a supportive team. If you are new in the security industry and currently don't hold license, TSS will provide you with full paid for training and an SIA license.

Pay and Shift Details

• £16.20 per hour (site-based rates may vary)
• Various shifts available - Role 1: Wednesday/Thursday 15:00-00:00, Friday/Saturday 12:00-22:00 (Total 34 hours). Role 2: Friday & Saturday 13:00-23:00 (Total 18 hours), plus relief work.
• Weekend availability required
