Job summary

BardWood is seeking a Retail Security Officer for a well-known store in Scunthorpe. You will patrol premises, monitor entry/exit, deter disturbances and ensure safety for staff and customers.

This role requires you to hold an SIA license, a 5-year verified work history and the ability to work under pressure. It offers a permanent position after 12 weeks with benefits including private medical cover, pension and other staff perks.

Qualifications

• SIA License required.
• 5-year checkable work history.
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage.

Title - Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate - 13.10 PH

Location - Scunthorpe DN15

Shift Timings - Must be fully flexible as per clients requirements

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
