Job summary

BardWood Support Services seeks a Retail Security Officer for a well-known retail store in Tunstall. You will help protect staff and customers, patrol premises, monitor entry and exit points and respond to incidents with confidence.

Role requires SIA licence, a 5-year checkable work history, and fitness to work under pressure. The position offers a permanent route after 12 weeks and benefits such as private medical cover, life cover, pension and retailer vouchers.

Qualifications

• SIA license required and valid.
• Minimum 5 years of checkable work history.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Monitor entry and exit points and investigate disturbances.
• Call for assistance in emergencies and operate theft-detecting devices.
• Maintain positive customer relations while managing crowds.

Title – Retail security Officer

Pay Rate – 13.10 PH

Location – Tunstall - ST6

Shift Timings – Must be fully flexible as per clients requirements

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
