Job summary

BardWood Support Services seeks a Retail Security Officer to safeguard a well-known retail store in the area. You will patrol, monitor entry/exit points and respond to incidents while maintaining positive relations with staff and customers.

The role requires a valid SIA license, a 5-year verifiable work history, and the ability to work to the client’s flexible shift requirements. Employment after 12 weeks is possible with benefits.

Qualifications

• SIA License is required and must be current.
• A verifiable 5-year work/career history is needed.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Candidate must be physically fit to perform duties.
• Ability to work under pressure and in busy environments.

Responsibilities

• Patrol Retail Store Premises to deter and detect incidents.
• Monitor entry/exit points and investigate disturbances as needed.
• Call for assistance in emergencies and operate security devices.
• Engage with customers and staff to maintain a safe environment.

Shift Timings – Must Be Flexible As Per Clients Requirement

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
