Job summary

BardWood is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Durham. The role focuses on maintaining safety for staff and customers, patrolling store premises and monitoring access points. You will respond to incidents, operate security devices, and support the team during busy periods.

Successful candidates will hold an SIA license, have a 5-year verifiable work history, and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while delivering excellent customer service.

About the role

Title –Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate –£13.10

Location – Durham

Shift Timings –Must Be Flexible As Per Clients Requirement

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.
