BardWood is recruiting for a Retail Security Officer to safeguard a well-known retail store in Crewkerne. The role requires a fully flexible shift pattern and an SIA license, with transfer to the client after 12 weeks and benefits on completion.

You will patrol store premises, monitor entrances, respond to emergencies, and maintain positive customer relations while protecting staff and visitors alike.

Qualifications

• SIA license is required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
• Physically fit to undertake tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Building positive customer relations while managing crowds.

About the role

Title – Retail Security officer

Pay Rate – £15.64ph

Location – Crewkerne

Shift Timings – Must Be fully flexible as per clients requirements

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
