Job summary

BardWood Security is seeking a Retail Security Officer for a busy Towcester store. You will patrol premises, monitor entry/exit, and respond to incidents to keep staff and customers safe.

Applicants must hold an SIA license, have a 5-year work history, and be physically fit with the ability to work under pressure. Weekend availability is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• SIA license required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Physically fit to undertake tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Building positive customer relations while managing crowds.

About the role

Title – Retail Security officer

Pay Rate – £12.71

Location – Towcester

Shift Timings – Must be fully flexible and able to work on weekends

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
