Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting a Retail Security Officer for a well-known retail store in Pembroke Dock. You will patrol premises, monitor entry points and respond to incidents to keep staff and customers safe.

The role requires an SIA license, a 5-year checkable work history, and the ability to work under pressure while delivering strong customer service. After 12 weeks, the role transfers to the client with added benefits and career progression.

Qualifications

• SIA License is required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history is required.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Must be physically fit and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Call for help in emergencies and operate theft-detecting devices.
• Build positive customer relations while maintaining security.

About the role

Title - Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate - £13.10

Location - Pembroke Dock

Shift Timings - Thursday-Friday 14:00-22:00; Saturday 12:00-22:00; Sunday 10:00-16:00.

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
