Job summary

BardWood is seeking a Retail Security Officer for a well-known retail store in Frome. You will patrol premises, monitor entry points, respond to disturbances, and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors.

The role requires a valid SIA license, a 5-year work history, and the physical ability to handle pressure. The position offers opportunities for growth within BardWood’s evolving family.

Qualifications

• SIA License required or in process.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

• Call for help in emergencies and operate theft-detection devices.

About the role

Title - Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate -13.10 PH

Location - Frome BA11

Shift Timings - Must be fully flexible as per clients requirements

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
