Job summary

BardWood is recruiting for a Retail security officer to join a well-known retail store at St James Retail Park. You will patrol the premises, monitor entry/exit points, and respond to incidents, using theft-detecting devices as required.

You will transfer to the client on a permanent basis after 12 weeks, with benefits including SIA license renewal, cycle to work, salary sacrifice tech, and life and private medical cover.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Confidently calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.
