Job summary

Poundstretcher Ltd. is seeking a Retail Security Officer at our Northampton store to maintain a safe shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will patrol the store, monitor incidents, and report findings to management.

Ideal candidates hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, have strong observational skills, and can stay calm under pressure to resolve issues professionally. Friday and Saturday shifts include 09:00-18:00.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
• Full five-year, checkable employment history is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible security presence and patrol the store.
• Monitor and report incidents and complete DOB entries.
• Prevent theft and minimise anti-social behaviour while delivering great service.

Kingdom Group is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our valued partner, Poundstretcher, for a Retail Security Officer to join the team at Poundstretcher, 34 Gold Street, Northampton, NN1 1RS., As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service. Your duties will include:

• Providing a visible security presence within the store.
• Conducting regular store patrols.
• Monitoring and reporting incidents.
• Completing Incident Reports and Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) entries.
• Preventing theft, loss, and anti-social behaviour.
• Carrying out surveillance around the store.
• Supporting store management and staff.
• Building positive relationships with customers, tenants, and visitors.
• Resolving issues and conflict in a calm and professional manner.
• Ensuring all security procedures are followed.
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times.
  If you hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, have excellent customer service skills, and are looking for a permanent role with a reputable security provider, we’d love to hear from you., A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.

Pay Rate £12.71 per hour
