Kingdom Services Group in Leicester is recruiting Security Officers (SIA Door Supervisors) to help protect Poundstretcher Belgrave Gate. You will maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for customers, colleagues and visitors while delivering excellent service and supporting store operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the store.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor activity within the premises.
• Prevent theft, loss, damage, and anti-social behaviour.
• Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns.
• Complete Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) entries and incident reports accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and assistance to customers and visitors.
• Build positive relationships with store colleagues and management.
• Support stock protection and loss prevention initiatives.
• Monitor and report health and safety issues where required.
• Handle conflict situations professionally and effectively.
• Ensure all security procedures and company policies are followed at all times.
• Liaise with emergency services and management when necessary.

Position: Permanent (Core Role)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Position 1

Hours: 34 Hours Per Week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday
Shifts:

• Monday to Saturday: 10:30 - 18:30
• Sunday: 11:00 - 17:00

Position 2

Hours: 24 Hours Per Week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday
Shifts:

• Monday to Saturday: 10:30 - 18:30

Role Overview

We are seeking professional and customer-focused Security Officers (SIA Door Supervisors) to join the team at Poundstretcher Belgrave Gate, Leicester. The successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the store's day-to-day operations.
