Kingdom Services Group is seeking a professional Retail Security Officer for Tesco Newton Aycliffe, DL5 4DH. The role focuses on a visible security presence, deterring theft, and delivering excellent customer service while supporting daily store operations.

You will work 40 hours per week on a rotating pattern Wednesday to Sunday, with shifts from early morning to late evening. A valid SIA licence is essential and previous retail security experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and highly visible security presence within the store.
• Deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents.

• Carry out regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas.
• Monitor CCTV systems where applicable.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers and colleagues.
• Complete accurate incident reports and relevant documentation.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times.
• Work closely with store management and colleagues to support operational requirements.

Retail Security Officer

Location: Tesco Newton Aycliffe, DL5 4DH
Pay Rate: £13.47 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Full-Time Permanent

About the Role

Kingdom Group is looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Newton Aycliffe, DL5 4DH.

As a key member of the security team, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operation of the store.

Shift Pattern

You will work 40 hours per week on a rota covering Wednesday to Sunday.

Shift times:

• 05:30 to 14:00 or
• 16:00 to 24:00

Working 5 to 6 days per week as required by the business.

Flexibility may be required to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and highly visible security presence within the store.
