Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting a Retail Security Officer for a well-known retail store in Hinckley. You will be responsible for protecting staff and visitors, patrolling premises and ensuring safety across busy hours.

The role offers a pay rate of 13.10 per hour, with fully flexible shifts as required by the client. Transfer to the client on a permanent basis after 12 weeks includes a range of benefits such as SIA license renewal, cycle to work, and private medical cover.

Qualifications

• SIA License required.
• Minimum 5-year checkable work history.
• Experience in a similar role advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

• Monitor entry and exit points of the store.
• Call for help in emergencies and operate theft-detecting devices.

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.


• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.


• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.


• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
