Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer for a busy Castlepoint store. You will patrol the premises, monitor entry points and assist staff and customers to maintain safety and a calm shopping environment.

The role requires a valid SIA license, a 5-year checkable work history, and the ability to stay composed under pressure. Flexible shifts and a transfer to clients after 12 weeks come with a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• SIA license is required.
• Minimum 5-year checkable work history.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
• Shift flexibility as per client requirements.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – 13.10 PH

Location – Castlepoint-BH8

Shift Timings – Must be fully flexible as per clients requirements

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.


• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.


• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.


• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
