Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting for a Retail Security Officer in Larkhall. You will guard a busy retail store, deter theft, monitor entry points and respond to incidents, keeping staff and customers safe.

You must be fully flexible to meet client requirements and hold an SIA license. On completion of a 12-week assignment, you transfer to the client on a permanent basis with benefits including pension, private medical cover, childcare vouchers, cycle to work, salary sacrifice schemes and

• SIA License required.
• 5-year checkable work history.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

• Calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detection devices.
• Building positive customer relations while managing crowds.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – 13.10 PH

Location – Larkhall

Shift Timings – Must be fully flexible as per clients requirements

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.


• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.


• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.


• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.


• 5-year checkable work/career history.


• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage


• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.


• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
