BardWood Support Services is recruiting a Retail Security Officer for a well-known retail store in Horwich. You will be responsible for maintaining safety and security for staff and visitors, patrolling the premises, monitoring entry/exit points, and responding to incidents.

The role requires full flexibility, SIA licensed personnel, and a 5-year checkable work history. On successful transfer after 12 weeks, you can access company benefits including private medical cover, pension, and employee

Qualifications

• SIA Licence is required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history is required.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate –13.10 PH

Location – Horwich BL6

Shift Timings – Must be fully flexible as per clients requirements

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.


• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.


• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.


• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.


• 5-year checkable work/career history.


• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage


• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.


• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
