Job summary

PUMA UK is seeking a Store Manager to lead customer experience, team management, and store operations across Manchester, Batley, and Dublin. You will drive sales, coach staff, oversee payroll and scheduling, and ensure inventory control while upholding PUMA’s brand values.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can manage performance, compliance, and the delivery of exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of customer service in line with PUMA's values.
• Participate in recruiting, avoid shortage of staff, train, develop, and manage high-performing team and employees.
• Hold team members accountable through productivity conversations, coaching, recognition, and performance actions; support store manager in performance appraisals.
• Spend 90% of time on the sales floor engaging with customers and coaching employees.
• Supervise store performance and daily operations; participate in new store openings/closings; travel may be required.
• Manage payroll and create schedules to ensure profitability and service quality.
• Ensure completion and effectiveness of training programs; oversee loss prevention and operational compliance.
• Manage inventory, including physical counts and shrink goals.
• Comply with Policies and Procedures; maintain a safe and compliant working environment; work non-traditional hours as required.
• Achieve or exceed sales, KPIs, and profitability goals.
• Analyze customer profiles, buying trends, and conduct performance appraisals; interpret store performance based on controllable KPIs.
• Maintain high standards of customer experience in line with brand values.
• Recruit, train, develop, and manage store staff; communicate effectively.
• Handle payroll, scheduling, inventory, and loss prevention.
