Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business across retail POS, visual merchandising and print divisions, with hybrid working and a salary of £30,000–£45,000 plus uncapped commission.

Based in Mitcham, London, the role involves engaging retail brands, agencies and marketing teams, building long-term relationships and delivering commercially competitive solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Business Development, Sales or Account Management role.
• Experience selling POS, visual merchandising, print, retail graphics or related services.
• Proven track record of generating and winning new business.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Commercially aware with a consultative sales approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities within retail brands, agencies and marketing departments.
• Re-engage dormant accounts and develop existing customer relationships.
• Lead client meetings, presentations and sales pitches.
• Identify opportunities for POS, print, visual merchandising and display solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercially competitive solutions.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
