Job summary

Bowmay Consulting seeks an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth across retail and discount channels, opening doors and turning opportunities into long-term relationships. You will be a true hunter with a proven track record in winning new business, capable of prospecting and building strategic customer relationships.

The role is hybrid with one onsite day weekly in Derbyshire, offering progression and a competitive package.

Qualifications

Hunter who sources and converts own leads.
Experience selling into retailers and discount channels.
Resilient, ambitious and driven to succeed.
Confident prospecting and building relationships from scratch.
Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills.
Naturally tenacious and persistent after doors close.
Capable of developing strategic, long-term relationships with key customers.

Responsibilities

Identify and convert new commercial opportunities across retail and discount channels.
Open doors, develop relationships, pitch opportunities and win new business.
Work with Product Development, Purchasing and Customer Care to align opportunities with the wider business.
Manage diary with autonomy; one onsite day per week in Derbyshire.
