Job summary

JD Sports Yeovil is seeking a Supervisor to help run the shop floor, deliver high service standards, and support colleagues across each shift. You will assist with daily tasks as directed by Store Management and maintain presentation and brand standards.

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, supervising team performance, and contributing to store operations, including opening/closing duties and till operations when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team-leader experience in fast-paced retail or customer-facing environments.
• Strong communication skills for guiding colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail to uphold service, presentation and store operations.
• Interest in retail, product trends, and promoting company values.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by supporting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets brand expectations.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in-store devices to offer the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised, and aligned with brand standards and company expectations.
• Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up, and supporting accurate till operations.
