Job summary

JD Sports is seeking a proactive Supervisor to support the smooth running of the shop floor, lead by example, and uphold high service standards for customers. You will guide colleagues during shifts and contribute to daily operational tasks to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and a passion for retail, with responsibilities spanning merchandising, presentation, and store operations.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high standards in service, presentation, and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by supporting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets expected standards.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in-store devices to offer the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised, and aligned with brand expectations.
• Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up, and supporting accurate till operations.
