Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd is seeking a committed Duty Manager to join our Littlehampton store on a part-time basis. You will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement for the time you manage shifts, with a base rate of £11.60–£12.71 per hour.

Key duties include driving availability, delivering great service, and leading a small team. The role emphasizes proactive people management, adherence to cash policies, and contributing to a friendly, inclusive store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management or supervisory role ideal but not essential.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.
