Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd in Crawley is seeking a committed Duty Manager to join our growing team in a busy store. You will work as a Retail Assistant with a £2 per hour supplement when you manage shifts, and an hourly rate of £11.60–£12.71 with 24 contracted hours per week.

As a Duty Manager you’ll focus on great customer availability, leading by example, and delivering excellent service while following all cash handling and store processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management or supervisory role ideal but not essential.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve performance of every colleague.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit with a focus on availability for customers and driving sales.
• Engage, develop and retain great people, including supporting store team engagement and inclusivity.
• Do the right processes and follow cash handling and security policies.
• Lead by example to deliver the best digital service and follow the One Best Way processes.
