Job summary

Iceland Foods is hiring a dedicated Duty Manager to lead store shifts and deliver excellent customer service. You will work as a Retail Assistant with a 2 per hour supplement during management time, helping drive availability and store standards.

In this role you will plan shifts, support team engagement, promote digital services, and uphold cash handling and security policies while fostering an inclusive, high-performing store culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or supervisory role is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to plan shifts and manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent store availability for customers.
• Drive sales through in-store promotions and initiatives.
• Deliver actions set by the line manager.
• Support Talking Shop Rep and engage the team.
• Foster an inclusive culture and up-skill colleagues.
• Plan and organise shifts with the team.
• Follow cash handling and security policies.
• Promote best digital service and One Best Way processes.
• Provide friendly service in-store and at the doorstep.
