Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd in Londonderry is seeking a Duty Manager who will work as a Retail Assistant, receiving a £2 per hour supplement when managing shifts. The role focuses on great availability for customers, driving sales, and leading a team to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities include shift planning, on-shift leadership, and adherence to cash handling and digital service processes, with a focus on a positive customer experience and an inclusive store culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management or supervisory role ideal but not essential.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage shifts to maximise store performance and customer service.
• Deliver on all actions set by the line manager and ensure cash handling policies are followed.
• Support and develop the team, fostering an inclusive culture.
• Ensure the store operates to the 'One Best Way' processes and delivers top service.
