Job summary

Halfords in Worcester is seeking a Deputy Manager to cover the Store Manager’s absence and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will lead by example, drive sales and service standards, and coach team members to deliver excellent customer experiences while ensuring health and safety compliance and labour planning. This role offers development opportunities within Halfords' Retail Management track.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of managerial experience in retail sales.
• Proven coaching and people-management track record.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and operational standards.
• Ability to meet sales targets and deliver customer metrics.
• Commercial awareness and knowledge of industry trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; willingness to learn our systems.
