Job summary

Halfords in Salford is seeking a retail leader to oversee a department, supervise colleagues and deliver market-leading standards to customers on the shop floor. You’ll support the store management team to ensure outstanding service, while maintaining a strong focus on coaching and staff development.

As part of the sales floor leadership, you’ll be entrusted with some key holder duties and will follow all security and stock-loss procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising or leading a small team.
• Experience of delivering great customer service ideally in a retail sales or a services business environment.
• Experience of delivering on the job training / coaching to others.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines.
• A track record of achieving exceptional results against sales targets.
• Ideally, some technical knowledge and skills in motoring or cycling, with training provided.

• Oversee day-to-day running of a department and supervise team members.
• Support store management to ensure the best service delivery for customers.
